Saturday: Garage Day

According to weatherman Gerhard, the weather on Saturday was very perfect for cleaning the garage. Good thing we didn't have to deal with freezing temps. It was actually in the 60's and sunny. We separated everything into sections: what to keep, what to trash and what to give away. Turns out some little mice hibernated the Winter in the back corner of the garage. Talk about lots of mice poop. See, the garage is not a normal garage. It's more like a barn, for those of you who have not been here. The flooring is cobblestone and the walls are wood and stone. Between the stones, mice can dig their way inside. They searched through the garage, taking anything suitable for their nest to their corner. Needless to say, I didn't work in that corner. Didn't want to breath in any mice poop dust. How yuck is that?? I'll pick up some face masks this week at the hardware store. Some time before March 31st, we'll have to sweep it out. Watch, we'll put it off till the last minute. Since I'm slacking on new photos for the blog....maybe that would make a good shot. hee hee...
