Here is the first photo of the baby. Did you catch that? "The baby", so just one!!! We saw some clearer angles on the monitor, but this is the one that got recorded. Once, the baby even put his/her arm in front of his/her face and wiggled around. He/She is 3cm from head to bottom and the doctor jokingly says he calls this stage "large gummy bear humans". Remember, gummy bears are famous here & by the way, it does sound cuter in German/Schwaebisch.
We could see the heart beating very fast, but weren't hooked up to a monitor with speakers. The next visit (Dec. 3rd) we'll be able to hear it & possibly find out the gender...if we are even going to find out - I'm torn, but Gerhard wants to know. If Gerhard knows, everybody is going to know!
We are so excited that everything is going well and know that we are blessed by God's grace and all the prayers. Hopefully we'll get to bring home another photo in four weeks (wk 15), so be sure to keep checking in.
