For my birthday (Nov. 29th, this is Cynthia by the way) and for Christmas, I received gift certificates to Amazon.com (thanks again Mama). After searching the site for DVD's & books, I ran across several scrapbooking supplies and realized that Amazon.com now sells Joann.com items. To make it even better, gift certificates can also be applied to Marketplace items where as used to they could only be used directly with Amazon items. On top of that, Joann.com was having a big sale! After much pondering (my wish list became full quick) I narrowed down my selection. I had everything shipped to Shawn's house and he then repacked everything for cheaper shipping & forwarded it on to me. The boxes recently arrived & I'm so excited to start scrapping!
Along with the scrapbook supplies, Shawn also collects magazines for me through the year (don't cha just feel sorry for his mailman?...oh excuse me mail person!). It is quite exciting to have some fresh English magazines to read. Thanks Shawn for adding the extra mags to the stash and for collecting & shipping them over!
Gerhard also received a gift certificate from mom for Christmas, so he stocked up on CD's and the Alan Jackson's Precious Memories DVD, which arrived with the scrapbooking supplies. It was like Christmas all over again in our house!
