Fun Filled Weekend

For the most part, we had nice weather this past weekend. (Today has been rainy all day so far)
Saturday, I stayed home watching Teodor and Tyler while their Papa's went to the first home game of the Stuttgarter Kicker's. Unfortunately they lost, so I think we had more fun at home playing.

Sunday after church we made our way over to McDonald's for lunch and then headed over to the Rutesheim Freizeitpark (free time park). They have a new mini-golf course. Here's a photo with Teo once again chewing on his hands. Teo and I didn't play, but it was fun watching the others play. We'll for sure be going back again. They did a very nice job setting up the course. With the warm breezes, it almost felt like being at a Carolina beach again.
While Tyler played on the playground, Teo snoozed in the car seat stroller. He's in his third of four outfits of the day due to so much drooling and spit-up.
Later in the day we all drove over to the Bad Liebenzell park. I was too busy playing to take photos, but Roland will be putting photos on his blog, so you can check out those there. That park has some very cool toys to play on. There is even an old fashion water pump that fills up a wooden troth that runs in two directions onto other levels for the kids to play in. My arms got tired of pumping since we played there so long, but it was fun. After playing, on the way to the car, we walked over to the lake to watch a family feed the ducks & black swans. They remembered to bring some bread, which we didn't. Turns out they were speaking English & heard me talking to Tyler. They offered him some bread & he gladly accepted. He was even willing to share with their little girl when she ran out. He almost got one duck to eat out of his hand, but dropped the bread just before and said he might eat his fingers. It was too funny. We'll take some bread next time. The family was actually from Northern Ireland. They drove down! They were still heading south down to Italy. We learned that Northern Ireland uses the English Pound still while Southern Ireland uses the Euro. They also mentioned that they enjoy the German food much better than the French food...well, that's a given!
Hope you all had a Fun Filled Weekend!!
