When Tyler comes over to visit, one of his favorite things to do is bake something. He likes to bake muffins the best, especially when I have those paper muffin cups to use. The point is not really having yummy results to eat, but to measure & mix the ingredients...and licking the bowl. He always wants to take some of the finished product home, but seldom, if ever, does he actually eat it. Once, though there are no photos of it, he desperately wanted to bake something using the Christmas cookie cutters he found when helping me search through a box for something else. We didn't have all the ingredients to bake cookies, so the next best thing was biscuits, even though I knew for sure he wouldn't eat them. The fun was pushing the cookie cutters through the dough using real food...not just play dough.
This past Friday, I decided to try a recipe found on Ramona's blog; Fudgy Brownie Cups. Ok, so I cheated on the recipe...using a brownie mix instead of the "from scratch" directions. Tyler's not ready to use the stove to help melt chocolate & butter, so fortunately I had a box of brownies left over from mom's visit. Still, the results were yummy.

Tyler said right away "Sehr Lecker! Du soll nicht alles essen." Translation: "Very yummy! You don't eat it all."
