Not much going on here. Rain, rain, rain... The weekend was sunny & clear, so it was nice to be outside, but now the rain seems to have settled in for a while.
We finally watched the movie Car's this weekend on DVD. Eventually, we'll also watch it in German since the German voices are supposed to be funny as well and Michael Schumacher also has a role. We liked the film, so if you've not seen it...we can recommend it.
Maybe there will be something more interesting to write in the upcoming days...if not, maybe I'll just share a recipe or two for you to try. Every body has got to eat, might as well cook something yummy!
*******Prayer Request from Bucharest, Romania****
this is from Theo Smilovici Ben Abraham, a Jewish missionary friend of ours from Charlotte, NC. I'm getting the post up a little late, but it's never too late to pray.
Monday 5 Feb: I am now in Bucharest Romania for one month. We are in need of your daily prayers. One of our missionary, Lenutza Rusinac is going to be hospitalized Monday, Feb. 5th and will have breast cancer surgery probably the very next day. I am asking you to keep her in your prayers. I have spent this evening with them & their family and trusting in the Lord, and praising Him for all the work He has to accomplish through her illness.
Tuesday 6 Feb: Thanks for everything you do for the Glory of God. Lenutza will have the surgery Romanian time Tuesday morning around 8am. Please pray! Thank you for your prayers.
Theo
